Q: h it will take to get the work visa. and how much time they offer for the visa? plz let me know.
A: Your educatial certificates have to be verified by the Indian Embassy in the UAE first. Then your company will apply for your labour card and your work permit. After paying the fees and the bank guarantee the company will receive these papers and will inform you that your visa will be at the Immigration Department at Dubai Airport. This visa will be good for 30 days. As soon as you arrive in Dubai your company will apply for your residence visa and you have to undergo a blood test for HIV and a x-ray for TB (The UAE will not recognize medical certificates from other countries!). How long it will take to obtain your work permit depends on how fast the PRO works. Normaly it should not take longer than 2 weeks, but please be aware that it's vaction time and this will slow things down. Take care.
