I am to got to UAE and work for an (XYZ)L.L.C company based in Dubai, for the purpose of entry in UAE, they have given me an employment entry permit, which REFLECTS my Designation of LOW grade than that in my Contract, i.e the Position awarded to me is of Sales Manager, but my Entry Permit reflects TECHNICIAN. I am also told by the Manpower service provider here, that they just do it because of saving some money, but at the same time, I AM TO LOOSE BENEFITS OF MANAGER IN UAE, at time of leaving the job, RIGHT? My question is:- IS the VISA upgradable immediatrly aftr ENTRY IF not, then when can it get upgraded Thanks regards
A: It is easier for the employer in the UAE to list you as a technical resource... that way they process your visa quicker and with less fuss... for such a nebulous position as Sales Manager, they will have to please explain why they are not employing a local... There is no difference in your status once you are in the country.
