Q: I'm from Cebu, Philippines. I was accepted as a Secretary for a construction company in Dubai last May 2 through an agency here. I submitted all of my papers to the agency 5 weeks ago and until now I still dont know on what's the status. The agency just said that it's still being processed. Does it usually take that long for an entry visa?
A: Just keep checking with your company. They might not have got the paperwork in when they said they did. It is taking longer these days to process a visa... but 5 weeks seems like a very long time. Can you get a copy of the paperwork from your agency... just to make sure that it has been submitted? Best of luck...
