Q: Co-Worker was detained last time through UAE Int'l Airport. Was released after Case dropped -charges dismissed. Then was deported. Needs to travel through UAE/ Dubai for employment contract in another Country. What Ministry, Department or Person can assist him in gaining permission &/ or Pardon ??
A: I do not know why your friend was detained, but why does he want to ask for a pardon when case was dropped and charges dismissed? What more does he want? If you ask for a pardon because your friend received an Immigration ban, well this ban is not a punishment. This ban is the consequence of the deportation and for a consequence you can not be pardoned. Your friend has two possibillities to travel to his new destination. 1. through Dubai not leaving the transit area 2. travel another route. Take care.
