Q: Can a mother sponsor her baby in Dubai if the baby is born here in Dubai?
A: Where is the father? A single woman can not give birth to a baby in the UAE. As for a married woman sponsoring her children, a minimum salary of Dh3,000 plus accommodation or Dh4,000 without accommodation is required, showing in her application the reason why the husband cannot do such sponsorship himself.
