Q: I saw e-mails, and on the web when I looked it up, pictures of these beautiful houses out the dubai man made islands where every house has a beach. I was on google satellite and looked at them and they look like they have been burnt and blown up, does any one know what happened?
A: No such thing has happened to the houses. Google Earth's coverage of Dubai isn't so very clear. I've myself had trouble locating many spots. In fact, the beach-front houses on Dubai's man-made islands are doing very well. In a very good shape, too. There's even a wonderful powerpoint slideshow nowadays doing the rounds on the internet.
