Q: Why do cars in the UAE have 120km/h speed limiters? E.g. Our R320CDi over there beeps madly the moment you go over 120km/h. How is this useful, you can still keep going and all it does is beep?
A: Its a standard requirement for vehicles in the Middle East. I believe it originated in Saudi Arabia. Good point about its usefullness. Slow down or the beeping will distract you from your driving!!
